  • Zeus Driving School are a local, fully independent driving school offering 1-to-1 lessons in a dual controlled Dacia Duster.

    We offer learner lessons, refresher courses, pass plus courses, short notice test bookings and where availability permits, intensive courses.

    We pride ourselves on being a safe and inclusive space for all individuals.

  • We put you first. Prior to your initial lesson we will contact you to discuss details such as your previous experience and to confirm your pick-up/drop-off location.

    We abide by the philosophy of every individual being different. This is why we will work with you throughout your driving journey to create a teaching method which works for you.

    This includes not relying on lesson plans and instead tailoring lessons to your needs, taking the time to discuss your own concerns and anxieties and ensuring you have all the skills and confidence you need post-test.

    That means no sitting stationary for half the lesson, but getting you out on the road.

  • To start driving lessons you must be:

    1. Aged 17 or older

    2. Hold a valid UK driving license (either provisional or full)

    You must be able to provide proof that you hold a valid UK driving license prior to the start of your initial lesson. Failure to provide this will result in the termination of the lesson and you may still be charged as a result.

    You must provide a copy of your driving license information prior to your initial lesson via email. This can be done by visiting https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence and obtaining a check code to send to your instructor.

  • We charge £50 per hour on weekdays and £60 per hour on weekends and bank holidays for learner and refresher lessons. Further information on pricing can be found on our Lessons page.

  • Payment can be made via bank transfer (BACS) or via cash.

    Where paying by BACS all lessons must be paid at minimum 48 hours in advance. Your instructor will contact you to arrange your lesson at least 72 hours before or will arrange your next lesson at the end of your current lesson.

    You will be provided with payment details on arrangement of your initial lesson. Payment may only be made via other means with prior agreement. A receipt will be provided at the end of your lesson if requested.

    Where alternate payment agreement has been made regarding cash payments you will be required to pay 3x the hourly rate on your initial lesson with subsequent payments at the start of every driving lesson.

  • We classify a short notice test booking as being for a test which takes place less than 2 weeks from the date of the first planned driving lesson. 

    The short notice test package consists of 5 hours’ worth of driving instructor and vehicle time. This is non-refundable.

    The package includes an initial 2-hour assessment lesson where the instructor will assess you to see whether you are ready to take the test. If they do not believe you are ready for the test, then they will not do the test.

    The remaining 3 hours may be applied to further driving lessons.

    The driving test can only be changed or cancelled with 3 working days’ notice. You may/will lose your DVSA test fee if your instructor says you are not ready for your test depending on the gap between your assessment driving lesson and driving test.

    Standard cancellation and refund terms apply to short notice test bookings, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice must be given before your assessment driving lesson.

    This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

  • You must give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to your instructor by text or call if your wish to cancel or re-arrange your booked driving lesson. Failure to notify before this period may result in you being charged the full amount.

    We will endeavour to evaluate each cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice on an individual basis.

    Lessons cancelled by the instructor will not be charged.
